Dry skin moisturizing tips on summer

Its very important to know what’s causing dry skin. Our skin contains a natural layer of oils. Without these moisturizing oils, skin is prone to cracking, itching and flaking.

Dry, oily and combination skin are common three types of skin. Care skin according to your skin quality. This post is about dry skin. When our bodies produce less natural oil sebum, we suffer with dry skin problem. There are some easy skin care tips and homemade remedies to control dry skin problem.

Treating dry summer skin starts with knowing how to retain the oils on your skin.
Whether you have dry skin in a few spots or excessive scaling, relief from the effects of the warm summer air is within reach:

Start the day out right. A hot shower might feel like heaven, but it can wreak havoc on your skin. Long steamy showers tend to dry out skin by washing off the skin’s natural oils. Without these oils, our skin loses more moisture than necessary during the day. If you find your skin feels itchy, tight or stingy after a shower, then it’s time to rethink your morning routine. Consider taking cooler, shorter showers to amp up skin’s natural oil attributes.

Use the right soaps. How does your soap smell? Heavily scented soaps might be harshly stripping away skin’s oils, aiding and abetting the drying-out process. The more we scrub the more damage we might be doing. Try trading in rich, foamy soaps for milder, fragrance-free ones.
Take it easy with the towel. Sure, your towels might be soft and extra absorbent, but where does that leave you? Dry, dry, dry. When you dry your hands after washing them or towel off after a shower, use a gentle touch. Lightly pat your skin dry. Leave skin slightly damp, and when you apply moisturizer, you will help seal in the extra moisture left on your skin.

Should use scrubs to remove the dry scaly skin. Apply ½ tsp of Vitamin E oil with 2-3 drops of lime juice and ½ tsp of glycerin.

Apply a mixture of 1 tsp warm Olive oil with a few drops of glycerin and 2-3 drops of lime juice.

Take 1 tsp of milk cream with 2-3 drops of lime juice mixed well. This should be applied 10 minutes before a bath.

Plain, whole milk applied and left on for 10 minutes and washed with cold water helps.

Take a massage of almond oil for whole before going to bath.

Avoid hot water for bath in summer season.

Use raw aloe Vera gel directly on your skin. You can get it from cutting a fleshy leaf of aloe Vera plant.

Apply Glycerin on face and whole before going to bed. Let it be whole night and wash in the morning.

Soak about a 1 tsp of almonds in hot water in night, leave it overnight and grind the almond in morning until it becomes smooth paste and then add 1 tsp of honey in that. Then apply neatly on a clean face( you can apply on arms and back also) leave for 10 min then wash your face using mild face wash. You can repeat this weekly twice.

Honey softens and moisturizes dry skin, and can be applied directly to problem areas – massage gently into skin and let sit for 2-3 minutes and rinse. Repeat daily and you will experience noticeably softer skin.

Coconut oil is wonder oil, and one of its specialties is moisturizing! There are so many ways you can use it – lather it right onto the skin, apply to problem areas like your hands, cuticles, and joints, or add a few spoonful’s to your bath! It leaves skin feeling incredibly soft and it also smells amazing.
